These T3 alpaca mecates are hand twisted right here in Colorado by our good friends Marianne and Wade Truitt.  These mecates are made from alpaca, which is extremely soft to the touch, heavy, and has just the right amount of stiffness and life to communicate the smallest signals. These mecates are my absolute favorites to use, from a 5/8 all the way down to my get downs on my bridle horses. These mecates are offered in 5/8 22ft, 1/2 22ft, 3/8 22ft, and 3/8 16ft get downs. We are offering these mecates as "Artist Picks".  Meaning, they will all be a combination of natural colors but will vary in pattern and color combination depending on what Wade and Marianne find beautiful on the particular day they twist each mecate. I have never owned a mecate I didn't absolutely love from these guys and I'm sure you will feel the same! *Allow 2-3 weeks to receive your mecate as each one is made to order. *
